Thoracic

The thoracic region refers to the chest region, which generally distinguishes it from the abdominal region below it. The thoracic cavity contains the various thoracic organs, protected by the thoracic wall (chest wall). The organs of the thoracic region include the heart, lungs, ribs, and related organs.
