Bronchi

The bronchi are two tubes that branch off the trachea, or windpipe. The bronchi carry air to your lungs.

The most common problem with the bronchi is bronchitis, an inflammation of the tubes. Bronchitis can be acute or chronic.

Bronchi: The larger air passages of the lungs arising from the terminal bifurcation of the Trachea. They include the largest two primary bronchi which branch out into secondary bronchi, and tertiary bronchi which extend into Bronchioles and Pulmonary Alveoli.2
